The varsity team won conference for the 3rd year in a row. JV won conference for the 2nd year in a row, and the 9-10th team won conference for the 4th year in a row. |

Coach Tom Trygstad was “Iowa” conference coach of the year and was named “At-Large” state of Iowa coach of the year. All conference performers: Zac Wiemers, Ben Anderson, Alex Coppess, James Opie, Jonny Hutchinson, Scott Lee ALL District Performers: Zac Wiemers, Ben Anderson, Alex Coppess, James Opie Top performer at the state meet was sophomore Ben Anderson who finished 13th. Zac Wimers, Alex Coppess, Jimmie Opie, Zach Fiepke, Dylan Schloerb, and Dylan Courntney all ran at the Iowa Senior All-Star meet

Zach Wiemers(12) finished 2nd all time on our 5k list with a 15:46 PR Ben Anderson (10) finished 3rd all time with a 15:49 5k PR time. Jonathon Hutchinson (11) and Alex Coppess (12) tied for 7th all time with a 16:03 Zac Wiemers time of 15:46 was the 695th fasted 5k time in the US in 2010 and Ben Anderson 15:49 5k PR time was 734th fast time in the country.

Congratulations to Ben Anderson for winning first place in the state cross country championship and breaking a state record! The Valley boys placed 7th overall. Runners for Valley included: Ben Anderson (1, 15:02), Jonathon Hutchinson (20, 15:49), Koelton Grisson (42, 16:16), Daniel Soto (53, 16:23), Lee Scott (72, 16:38), Bernie Saggau (88, 17:04) and David Daft (89, 17:05).
